Light Up The Town Celebration

Event is Held First Saturday After Thanksgiving 6:00 PM

Come and join us for the Light Up The Town Celebration in Thomaston, Connecticut. Our small community, along with the Waterbury Region Convention & Visitors Bureau, comes together every year, the Saturday after Thanksgiving, to light up all of downtown Thomaston.

Join our small town, rich with the heritage of Seth Thomas, the Thomaston Opera House and the Naugatuck Railroad; along with the downtown merchants for the start of your holiday shopping with family and friends.

This beautiful lighting ceremony (together with) Santa and Mrs. Claus gives everyone, both young and old, a great and joyous time together. You'll return year after year to view this special event.

The Light Up The Town Celebration Committee, along with the Waterbury Region Convention & Visitors Bureau wishes everyone to come and enjoy the event. It's a night of family fun.
