First Selectman's Column

By January 1st of the New Year, the Town will launch a new website. Town staff have been busy at work, ensuring that our website provides better information and services to our residents. 

Among the website’s new features, you can find updated information about town departments and functions, including a section on Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ’s) and Frequently Asked for Forms.   The website will contain board agendas and minutes.  It also will provide applications that can be downloaded for such things as recreation programs or taking out permits from the Building and Land Use Department.  In addition, all town ordinances can be accessed on the website.  You can perform keyword searches to learn more about local laws on any given subject.

Through these improvements and others, we hope to maintain customer-friendly presence on the web for residents and visitors.  As January 1st approaches, I would encourage you to check out the new site and feel free to give us feedback and offer any suggestions for improvement. We will continue to build and improve this website to serve the needs of residents.
