Bid Information

The Town of Thomaston is providing bid information over the internet for notice of availability and expediency. Bid documents are also made available at the Town Hall as specified in the legal notice published in the local newspapers.

It is your responsibility to ensure that you have the current information, that it is complete, and that your bids are received at the designated location complete and on time.

INVITATION TO BID
TRANSPORTATION AND INSTALLATION OF BITUMINOUS CONCRETE INCLUDING ROAD RECONSTRUCTION VARIOUS ROADS-YEAR 1

The Town of Thomaston is accepting bids until 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday August 19th at which time they will be opened and read out loud. Bid documents may be obtained at the First Selectman’s Office Level 4 Monday-Friday 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. All bid documents must be returned in a sealed envelope labeled “Year 1 Paving Bids”. The Town of Thomaston reserves the right to reject any or all bids. A performance bond of 100% of bid excluding Bituminous Concrete Material shall be required in the form of a cash bond or surety bond. Proper Insurance as per the bid documents shall also be required.
